lyrics

Heaven forgive me, hard times left me feeling empty
old friends dont call, lovers try their best to forget me.
The fame use to tempt me,
Attracted to living simply
Foundations solid,
No heat though it was a crack in the chimney
Half way to 50, +1 done living in envy, pain, strange, i opened up to the same thing,
that i trapped long ago, its a trap
But u know,
I started believin in the love in the people in the globe,
I saw the light, shine bright from the hearts of humans
I looked in the mirror and asked that man what he was doing
U can say a lot of
Things, but even more than talking
The best way to pave the way is to make the road by walking

Only the great forgive, I, wonder how Dr. King did? Jesus of Nazreth, Gandhi, mercy beyond words.
I'll try to emulate, and, pray that I find the grace to, forgive myself, forgive yourself, one lovely day.
It's never easy, but it's, so necessary, perhaps, it's why we're here to try to learn to let it go?
To find compassion in the, darkest of days, to make amends. To make some peace.
To find the strength, to let it go, we let it go, we're free at last, we let it go, we let it go.

I saw the pain, in their eyes. I saw their light, and I cried. I know forgiveness takes love. I know forgiveness is peace.

We've always done our best, it's, not easy being human; we spread our pain, push love away, sorry to say.
What if the pain we cause is, always just born of ours? and, what if the harshest words and violence are just cries for love?
I want to see the needs that, inspire the hurtful deeds and, catch me before, catch you before, we burn the bridges and just multiply our wounds.
Forgive us mother for we, know not what we do, it's just, just me and you, just you and I, the line is thin, let's make it right. Let's make it right.

I saw the pain, in their eyes. I saw their light, and I cried. I know forgiveness takes love. I know forgiveness is peace.
